• There are more than 870,000 cases of abuse documented each year.
• More than 1,250 children will DIE each year as the direct result of identifiable abuse and neglect.
• The majority of child abuse and neglect deaths are children UNDER 5YEARS OLD.
• Nine out of Ten abusers are the child's own parents/guardians.
• One out of Four girls and One out of Five to Seven boys will be sexually assaulted by the age of 18.
• Between 80% and 90% of our prison population reports being victims of abuse.

~Child Neglect is an act of Omission.

BEHOLD, CHILDREN ARE A HERITAGE FROM THE LORD, THE FRUIT OF THE WOMB A REWARD.  LIKE ARROWS IN THE HAND OF A WARRIOR ARE THE CHILDREN OF ONES YOUTH.  BLESSED IS THE MAN WHO FILLS HIS QUIVER WITH THEM!  HE SHALL NOT BE PUT TO SHAME WHEN HE SPEAKS WITH HIS ENEMIES IN THE GATE.  [PSALM127:3-5]  ☺
